We didn’t do a whole bunch of training…well, none…yesterday. It poured rain. But today dawned sunny and clear, if a bit chilly. Not Canada chilly – just cool enough to wear a jacket. We did a bunch of stuff today. This morning, the young dogs learned about in-line marks and lining through cover. The older dogs did the same marks as the older dogs, only as doubles and triples. We did some blinds – on their own and as part of the marking set up. This afternoon we did some water work – basic marks just to get their feet wet, so to speak. We did a little bit of yard work with some of the young ones. Mark’s out right now with Cliff and Helen’s grandson Jacob training on shot flyers…which is Mark’s way of saying they’re out blowing clay pigeons up for fun.
