Penny was bred by Dan and Shirley Petko of Happy Acres Golden Retrievers and lives with our friends Nick and Trudy Bray.  We so appreciate Dan and Shirley who have been steadily improving the breed for over 50 years and Nick and Trudy who have offered us the great opportunity of including Penny in our breeding program.

Penny is a sweet, feisty, affectionate dog with stunning good looks. She loves hanging out at home with her BFF Kylie, running in fields and on the beach and swimming. 

 She’s a very focused and happy worker and has earned her HRC Started Hunting Retriever title (SHR) and her CKC Working Certificate (WC).  She has also had a bit of showing in conformation, but apart from the cookies, thinks that game is a bit weird.
